CASE STUDY: Waverley
Gemma Wilson PR has been working closely with Moorgarth, the Asset Manager for Waverley in Edinburgh since 2019, to assist with the launch of their completely re-developed rooftop space, as well as their future plans for existing spaces in the heart of Edinburgh.
During this time, Gemma Wilson PR has ensured that their positive key messages have been reflected throughout the print and digital press achieved for them.
We have been focusing on new independent openings within Waverley and key collaborations with a focus on local independent businesses as much as possible to continue to raise their profile and presence for the rooftop and overall look of Waverley moving forward.
During the festive period last year, we collaborated with Thor’s Tipi Bar on the rooftop which had a very positive response in a wide range of print and digital press throughout the country. We also planned a successful press launch and a social media influencer campaign to enhance their profile throughout the media.
This year, we are currently collaborating with Rogue Village for a brand new open-air rooftop market place called ‘Neighbourhood’. Neighbourhood features authentic street food and drink from local independent businesses in the city, situated on Waverley’s iconic rooftop throughout the summer months. Following lockdown as Waverley’s rooftop welcomes Edinburgh locals back to the city centre, the launch of Neighbourhood has had an extremely positive response throughout the media in print, digital and social media.
